EPALE, the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe, is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Over the past decade, it has become a key source of information, support and networking for professionals in ALE. It has enabled the exchange of good practices, innovative approaches and the development of a community committed to improving the quality of ALE across Europe. To mark this occasion, EPALE is organising a series of events celebrating its achievements so far and looking ahead to future goals.
► EPALE Community Stories – Adult educators from across Europe share personal stories about how EPALE has supported their work.
► Podcast – A new episode of the EPALE podcast offers reflections on the platform’s role in shaping policy and practice in ALE.
► Discussion on the Future of EPALE – Community members are invited to take part in an open discussion on the platform’s future direction.
► EPALE Newscast – A special edition of reports highlights EPALE’s development and impact over the past decade.
► Anniversary Video – In a moving and inspiring video, EPALE reflects on its journey. The video features representatives from participating countries, including two members from Slovenia.
We also marked the 10th anniversary in Slovenia. On 15 April, members of the EPALE NSS Slovenia invited CMEPIUS colleagues to a cheerful Breakfast with EPALE. The occasion was livened up with a fun quiz, testing their knowledge of the platform and the speed of their fingers!
And don’t worry – we haven’t forgotten about you. A larger celebration will take place on 26 September, when Slovenia will host this year’s EPALE regional conference. We look forward to seeing you there!
