In the spring months, two Erasmus+ calls were closed. The response to both was excellent. The results for the first call, Key Action 1 – Mobility Projects, are already known. Applications for Key Action 2 – Small-scale and Cooperation Partnerships were open in March. We received 173 applications, including 40 for ALE. There were 29 proposals for small-scale partnerships and 31 for cooperation partnerships. We also received a significant number of applications in other areas. In the field of school education, we received a total of 59 applications, 40 for small-scale partnerships and 19 for cooperation partnerships. There were 36 proposals from vocational and professional education organisations, including 9 for small-scale partnerships and 27 for cooperation partnerships. Cooperation partnerships are the only option for tertiary education, and we received 18 proposals. All applications have undergone technical review and will soon be ready for evaluation. We wish success to all applicants and eagerly anticipate the release of the results at the end of August.

How to prepare an application and achieve success?

The first event will be organised in the Pattern City of Velenje

They will share experiences and information on successful applications for learners and staff mobility projects. These projects involve institutions sending staff members or programme participants abroad for education or training. Doing so brings new teaching methods, didactic tools, examples of good practices, experiences, knowledge, perspectives, enthusiasm and much more back to their organisation. Mobility projects are suitable for organisations seeking their initial experiences with the Erasmus+ programme. Therefore, the programme offers short-term mobility projects ideal for beginners and the opportunity to obtain Erasmus accreditation, which allows for long-term planning of professional development and international activities for the organisation, as well as sustained funding for staff training.
