Development of professional materials, programmes and approaches is one of the key activities of the SIAE in the field of guidance. In this scope, we also develop tools for evaluation of key competences (EU, 2007 and 2017). As part of previous ESF projects, we developed questionnaires for development and evaluation of key competences: learning to learn, career planning, digital literacy and competences acquired through activities in everyday life.
In 2017, we developed three new questionnaires for evaluation of social and citizenship competences as part of the present ESF project Professional support to information and guidance activities and validation of nonformal knowledge 2016–2021. We presented the questionnaires on 26 and 27 March to two groups of guidance counsellors from organisations providing guidance according to the Public call for tenders for financing guidance and orientation activities and evaluation of non-formal education 2016–2022.
The SIAE associates collaborated in the development of the questionnaires and at the workshop with Iris Fink Grubačević, MSc, who presented the importance of social competences for suitable behaviour at work place, and dr. Mitja Sardoč, who presented the important of citizenship competences for suitable behaviour at the work place and in private life. Together with the SIAE associates, Vera Mlinar and Andrej Cetinski, they showed the participants how to use the questionnaires in printed or electronic version in practice and gave them guidelines for preparation of feedback based on the interpretation of questionnaire results. The questionnaires are available at the SIAE. We also offer professional and technical support for use of these questionnaires.
The training was financed and implemented in the scope of the ESF project Improvement of professional associate competences in the field of management of innovative educational institutions, 2016–2018.
