In early December, the SIAE was visited by nine Croatian colleagues from the Dante Adult Education Institution operating in Rijeka. The associates of the SIAE prepared the visit agenda, presenting our activities, especially international cooperation. The discussion focused on further involvement in Erasmus+ projects.
After the morning session, we showcased two cases of best practice of adult education providers. We visited the Ljubljana Public Education Centre – Cene Štupar and the Ljubljana-based private educational institution, Glotta Nova. We searched for ways to partnership in Erasmus+ together, in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Just before the holidays, we hosted three other Slovak colleagues from the AINova Association, operating as the national coordinator of the Slovak EAAL project. They selected Slovenia and Estonia as good practice examples for their MOVED project. The core objective of their project is to develop a successful regionalisation model in the field of lifelong learning and adult education in Slovakia, and we will help them by sharing our experience at national and local levels. They were impressed with the models presented, and went home in the hope of introducing something similar in Slovakia.
