Fourth international Profi-train project partner meeting in Fiesa, Slovenia

Between 5 and 7 May 2019, the 4^th international PROFI-TRAIN project partner meeting was held in Fiesa, Slovenia. Partners from five countries attended the meeting, including Slovenia (SIAE). There were several objectives that had to be reached. The most important were the review and confirmation of materials developed in the PROFI-TRAIN project and planning further steps in the preparation of the WBBS training guide. The training guide will be the source for preparation and implementation of the pilot programme for training of the trainers.

The PROFI-TRAIN project started two years ago and will run until August 2020. Within the project, the following results are expected:

• the report on the current situation in training of WBBS,
• preparation of a self-study manual for teachers of WBBS,
• development and implementation of a guide with six curricularly edited thematic modules for realization of training of the trainers and
• a European roadmap for stakeholders, which will outline guidelines for WBBS training.

The partners have already completed the report on the state-of-the-art training of WBBS in partners countries. The draft of a self-study manual for teachers of WBBS which serve as a basis for development and implementation of a training guide for training of the trainers.

At the meeting in Fiesa, project partners also talked about further steps in the implementation of a three-day pilot training programme that is planned in November 2019.

The training programme is intended for teachers, who teach WBBS in companies. Our aim is to include experienced teachers, who already have training experiences with companies. In a three-day pilot training program, the focus will be on the novelties developed in the Profi-Train project and the preparation and implementation of a training program in the work environment.
