The best voluntary project of 2018 is the Mountaineering for Persons with Special Needs project at the Alpine Association of Slovenia. The group is closely interlinked with the Slovenian LLW.
As a thematic coordinator, the group is also a holder of the joint campaign Mountaineering as a Way of Life – For an Inclusive Society. The SIAE Recognition Commission recognized the group’s contribution to lifelong learning and ranked it among award winners of 2017 for interconnection and re-proving that in order to integrate one first has to go beyond the constraints of the mind.
