The festival provides an opportunity for teachers, students, mentors and others to share their work and knowledge, connect with other organisations and exchange ideas and good practices. In this dynamic environment, through workshops, lectures and discussions, we explored new ways of expression, collaboration and learning.
During the C.R.E.A. CULTURA event, we had the chance to deepen our understanding of diverse cultural practices and develop our creative and social skills. The workshops organised as part of the event allowed us to confront new challenges and experience different methods of working. Meeting peers from other European countries enabled us to exchange experiences and perspectives on education and personal development.
One of the key highlights of the exchange was strengthening intercultural competence, which is more important than ever in today’s globalised world. Immersing ourselves in a different environment taught us how to adapt and embrace diversity, enriching us on a personal level. Mentors gained new insights into leadership and teaching methods that can be applied when working with young people in our local communities.
Exchanges like the one we attended in Foligno, Italy, provide exceptional opportunities for personal and professional development for both participants and mentors. Young people acquire knowledge and experiences that are not readily available at home. Exposure to different cultures and working methods helps them develop critical thinking, independence and creativity.
For teachers and mentors, such exchanges are an opportunity to explore new pedagogical practices, expand their professional networks and gain insights into international trends in education. Sharing best practices between different countries can contribute to enhancing the quality of education in the home environment.
Erasmus+ exchanges, such as our participation in the C.R.E.A. CULTURA event, are precious. They foster personal and professional development for everyone involved and promote intercultural understanding, which is essential for effective collaboration in today’s interconnected world.
In addition to the professional activities, we made the most of our free time by exploring Foligno and nearby towns. We visited Perugia, Assisi and Spello, which filled our mornings and afternoons. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, delicious food and the warm hospitality of the local people.
In conclusion, we can confidently say that all participants returned enriched with new experiences, knowledge and friendships that will undoubtedly shape our future journeys.
