EPALE presents a new Resource Kit exploring how ALE can contribute to shaping a digital, green and inclusive future. It focuses on three key challenges of our rapidly changing world.

  1. Upskilling and Reskilling for the Digital Transition: The digital revolution is transforming our daily lives and workplaces. This chapter explores how artificial intelligence can serve local communities while ensuring inclusivity and ethical development. It highlights the importance of developing skills essential for the future workforce and explores modern approaches to media literacy that go beyond simple fact-checking.
  2. Adult Learning for Sustainable Development: Sustainable practices are becoming increasingly vital in adult education. The kit offers innovative approaches to integrating sustainability into learning programmes, particularly those ensuring that green transitions benefit everyone in society. It showcases inspiring initiatives such as green clinics and community gardens, which connect environmental awareness with cultural engagement.
  3. Adult Learning as a Way Out of Poverty: Adult education plays a vital role in reducing social inequality and creating opportunities to break the cycle of poverty. This chapter explores how digital literacy can bridge social gaps and create new opportunities for vulnerable groups, with success stories demonstrating the transformative power of education.

The Resource Kit is a valuable tool for anyone looking to understand how adult education is responding to today’s challenges. Explore and learn more on EPALE!
