On 4 December, the national awards for international projects were presented to recipients at Hotel Union. They were presented by Martina Vuk from the MESS and Dr Alenka Flander from CMEPIUS. The most attention-grabbing international projects of the Erasmus+ projects received the Quality Apple Awards. Two secondary schools, one faculty and AEC received awards in this category. The most successful international cooperation projects receive the Golden Cable Award. A kindergarten, two primary schools and a gymnasium were declared the best in this category.

In the national award special category, the Mavrica Brežice Kindergarten received the Golden Cable Award for its cooperation with two Ljubljana-based kindergartens on the Gib na kubik (Movement Cubed) project.

In addition to this year’s winners, we could also spot some former winners in the hall who said, in jest of course, that they were so surprised last year when being called to the stage that they don’t even know what the event was like. This year, however, they were able to follow the event in a more relaxed state of mind and congratulate their successors at the end.

NSS EPALE Slovenia congratulates all award recipients, especially the recipient of the Quality Apple in the area of adult education, Ormož AEC.
