As part of the Strengthening Lifelong Learning project, we have developed a new free web application called Opazujmo (in Slovenian). The application aims to encourage people to observe their environment in order to develop their green competencies and scientific literacy. We invite you to test the first version of the application. With your help and feedback, we can further develop the application to support new approaches to learning, such as participation in citizen science campaigns.
We invite you to take part in at least one of the three test campaigns:
By taking part in the Sustainable mobility campaign, you can observe your daily travel habits. Perhaps this will lead you to a more active lifestyle and encourage you to choose more sustainable ways of getting around. Do you have a special tree that means a lot to you? Share your story in the My precious tree campaign. If you have observed sustainable practices in Slovenia or abroad that you think would be useful to share with others, you can join the My green story in Slovenia campaign.
Participation does not require any prior knowledge of the natural sciences, nor does it involve any demanding fieldwork. You can participate from the comfort of your own home using your computer. The test campaigns draw on your own activities and past observations, which we are now revisiting, as well as your values and attitudes towards the environment.
Participation is easy and will take between 10 and 15 minutes:
- Register in the application.
- Take part in one or more campaigns.
- Check the results.
- Complete a feedback survey.
The Opazujmo web application is funded through the Strengthening Lifelong Learning project (C3350-24-905001). The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
